Despite the easy win against Kolossos Rhodes at the OAKA arena, Panathinaikos are facing major injury problems.
Apart from captain Ioannis Papapetrou and starting power forward Okaro White who sat out because of a contusion they suffered during last Friday's EuroLeague contest with ASVEL Villeurbanne, Nemanja Nedovic felt discomfort in his left adductor and exited the Green's Greek League game in the 4th quarter.
The staff of Panathinaikos will wait to find out whether his condition is serious in view of Thursday's game in Belgrade against Red Star.
Dimitris Priftis made a special reference to his team's injured players during the post-game presser:
"Papapetrou and White were not left out as a precaution," the Greek coach made clear. "They have a contusion and I don't know if we'll have them in Belgrade. We'll wait for Tuesday's practice.
There's also something about Nedovic. He will have an MRI, so we'll see what happens," he said.
