The Israeli champs are on a run of five consecutive wins by a cumulative margin of 89 points since losing the league in Gan Nar and they were coming off an impressive 104-80 home win over Hapoel Jerusalem last week.

Since suffering a 3-0 season sweep in 2016-17, Maccabi Tel Aviv have won all 12 of their league games against Herzliya by a big margin. This time was no exception, as the team coached by Giannis Sfairopoulos cruised to victory behind six players scoring in double digits.

Keenan Evans poured in 19 points, Oz Blayzer 18, Ante Ziziz added 16, Yiftach Ziv another 11 and John DiBartolomeo 11 apiece, while Jake Cohen went for 10 points. The hosts went 23 of 35 on two-point shots, while the visitors missed a total of 10 (9/19) free throws.

Chinano Onuaku, whose brother Arinze played for Maccabi Tel Aviv six years ago, led the losing side with 19 points and 6 rebounds.
