After an easy win against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in EuroLeague Round 7, Zenit Saint Petersburg continued with another one. This time around, it was on the domestic front against Enisey Krasnoyarsk by 79-56 (21-14, 16-13, 17-14, 25-15).

The squad of Xavi Pascual needed a five-hour flight to arrive at their guests' city, but at least Jordan Mickey wasn't in the least bit affected by fatigue. The American center dominated the paint, scoring 16 of Zenit's 21 points in the first quarter.

Zenit were holding on to a double-digit lead, which they managed to increase in the fourth quarter thanks to a partial score of 15-25. When all was said and done, Mickey finished the game with 20 points, while Billy Baron added 13 for the winning side who improved to 3-1 in the VTB League.

The 2021 VTB regular-season leaders will now go up against the EuroLeague champs Anadolu Efes in their next game.

For Enisey, Darral Willis put up 16 points which weren't enough for his team, who dropped to 1-2.

Enisey: Willis 16, Lemar 11, Ware 10.

Zenit Saint Petersburg: Mickey 20 (7/10 FG, 6 REB), Baron 13, Pushkov 9 (5 REB, 3 AST), Poythress 9 (4/4 FG), Loyd 8 (2/8 FG, 5 REB, 4 AST).
