Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis will not play in Sunday afternoon's game against the visiting Sacramento Kings.
Porzingis, 26, has been dealing with lower back tightness since the Mavericks' 116-106 win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
Porzingis is off to a slow start this season, averaging 12.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in three starts. He's shooting just 23.5 percent from 3-point range, well shy of his career average (36.0 percent).
Porzingis entered the season fully healthy for the first time since joining the Mavericks in 2019-20.
