The 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks will visit the White House and President Joe Biden on Nov. 8, ESPN reported Saturday.
Milwaukee Bucks / Schedule
The Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games in July to capture their first title in 50 years.
Milwaukee has a day off between road games against the Washington Wizards on Nov. 7 and the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 9.
The Bucks will be the first NBA team to have a ceremony in Washington, D.C., since the 2016 champion Cleveland Cavaliers visited then-President Barack Obama.
The Golden State Warriors (2017, 2018) and Toronto Raptors (2019) did not go to the White House during Donald Trump's time in office. COVID-19 pandemic-related travel complications kept the 2020 champion Los Angeles Lakers from making an appearance.
