Italian side Virtus Bologna (2-0) reacted after the loss in the Italian league and got the win against German side Ratiopharm Ulm (0-2) in the second round of Eurocup.

The final score of 87-76 (23-28, 17-16, 22-10, 25-22) doesn't completely tell the truth about the difficulties that Virtus faced, especially in the first half. 

Virtus extended the lead to 14 points in the final quarter (74-60) and despite a partial comeback from Ulm, who was able to cut down the lead to just six points (80-74), Alessandro Pajola and Marco Belinelli sealed the victory in the final two minutes. 

In the third quarter, Sergio Scariolo's guys completely changed the game. In the first five minutes of the period, Virtus imposed a 13-6 run and regained the lead (53-50).

Bologna limited Ulm to only 10 points in the third quarter and entered into the final quarter with an eight-point lead (62-54).

Mouhammadou Jaiteh was the top scorer of Virtus Bologna with 20 points (8/10 2PT, 4/8 FT), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turnover, and 21 PIR.

Jakarr Sampson added 17 points (6/11 2PT, 5/7 FT), 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 5 drawn fouls, and 27 PIR.

For Ulm the top scorer was Semaj Christon with 14 points (5/11 2PT, 1/3 3PT, 1/2 FT), 9 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 turnovers, and 17 PIR.
