The Chicago Bulls All-Star Zach LaVine has a small ligament tear in the thumb of his non-shooting hand but intends to play through the injury, via Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Per the report, it’s a matter of pain tolerance and LaVine wants to play as Chicago starts the season 4-0.
Last time the Bulls demonstrated such a successful start of the season was in 1996-97 when Chicago still had the legendary dynasty with Michael Jordan at the forefront.
The 26-year-old averaged 25.5 points (44.4% 3PT), 5.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per 4 contests this season.
