FC Bayern Munich will host AX Armani Exchange Milan for EuroLeague Round 6 on Tuesday in a repetition of their 2020-21 thrilling five-game playoff series.

Bayern (1-4) have gotten off on the wrong foot in the current campaign, but coach Andrea Trinchieri saw his men react against Zalgiris Kaunas last time out. However, Armani Milan (5-0) are one of just two remaining undefeated teams in the competition and are coming off a hard-fought win over ASVEL Villeurbanne last week.

"Milan has so much individual quality, they’re very experienced and the best team in Europe at the moment," Trinchieri explained.

"They reached the Final Four last season and they’re for sure a candidate for the title this year. Our goal is now to play more consistently and to improve ourselves, even with such a difficult game in front of us," the Italian coach of the Bavarian side concluded.

Nick Weiler-Babb added: "Milan has a great team, but we want to make another step and improve. Last season they pushed us in every single game to play our best possible basketball. Our goal is to be competitive, also tomorrow."
