ALBA Berlin (2-3) will look to continue on their winning path when they face hosts Olympiacos Piraeus on Tuesday night.

The Reds bring a perfect home record to the table and have allowed opponents to score a mere 62.7 points at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. However, the German team notched its first road win of the season by 63-78 against Crvena Zvezda and would want to repeat that feat against the Greek squad.

ALBA's coach Israel Gonzalez had nothing but praise for his team's next opponent:

"Olympiacos is probably the best defensive team in the EuroLeague right now," the Spanish coach said, per EuroLeague.net.

"They are playing very well in a tough schedule. And Olympiacos is always very strong on its home court. We have to play with confidence, share the ball and make our best effort," he added.

Johannes Thiemann highlighted the atmosphere that ALBA players are expecting to meet in one of the hottest spots in the continent:

"I am really looking forward to this game. It’s always great to play in front of the fans in Piraeus. I hope that many of them will come and that we can enjoy the atmosphere," the German forward said.

"Olympiacos is a very good team and we will be the underdog in this game. But we already played well in Belgrade in the last game and we want to continue in that way."
