Fortitudo Bologna were a worthy opponent, but AX Armani Exchange Milan geared up in the last five minutes of the game held in Paladozza to capture their fifth Serie A win by 86-75 (17-16, 22-19, 17-15, 30-25).

The visitors were up in the scoreboard for the better part of the encounter.

Although shots were not falling for them (3/10 from behind the arc), the EuroLeague and Serie A leaders had no trouble scoring over 80 points.

Sergio Rodriguez had 16, Luigi Datome added 14, while Hall and Mitoglou were also in double digits for the winners. On the other end, Pietro Aradori shone with 18 points, as Fortitudo, coached by Martino Antimo, fell to 1-4.

While Armani were able to shut down Fortitudo defensively, the hosts were able to get pretty close (62-64) halfway through the fourth quarter, but the reaction from Messina's men came instantly.

Armani Milan issued a 0-11 run with Sergio Rodriguez on the wheel. The margin was again increased to 13 (62-75) and from then on, there was no coming back for Fortitudo.

Fortitudo Bologna: Aradori 18 (7/12 FGS), Richardson 12, Tote 11, Procida 10.

AX Armani Exchange Milan: Rodriguez 16 (8 AST), Datome 14, Hall 13, Mitoglou 12 (6 REB), Shields 11 (8 REB), Melli 8.
