Victor Claver had to withdraw from Valencia Basket's last Saturday encounter with Hereda San Pablo Burgos due to an injury to his left foot.
The experienced forward went through medical tests this morning, where it was discovered that he suffered a midfoot sprain on his left foot, but, fortunately, it was ruled out that there is a bone fracture. His estimated recovery time revolves around 3-5 weeks.
His absence will add to other players already injured on the squad: Bojan Dubljevic, Mike Tobey and Klemen Prepelic.
Valencia Basket starts this Tuesday the quest for their return to the EuroLeague, through the 7DAYS EuroCup, in which they will debut against Greek squad Promitheas Patras, led by their former coach Luis Casimiro, in la Fonteta (20:30 CEST).
