The NBA G League is increasing the base salary for its players from $35 thousand to $37 thousand.
The players used to earn $7 000 thousand per month, but this number is set to increase this season.
The salaries might continue to increase because the G League established a player's association in 2020.
Players who sign a 10-day contract with an NBA team can receive up to $50 thousand in bonuses. If they spend at least 60 days in the team's G League affiliate, the number increases to $87 thousand.
