Injury-riddled Zalgiris Kaunas welcomed some positive news.
After hurting his knee in Sunday’s game against Siauliai-7bet, Emmanuel Mudiay didn’t suffer a serious injury, Zalgiris’ Press Officer Almantas Kiveris confirmed to BasketNews.
According to Kiveris, Mudiay could have continued to play in yesterday’s game. Furthermore, there were no extensive medical checks needed, and the situation will remain the same unless Mudiay starts to feel discomfort.
However, the first impression is that the American guard won’t be sidelined for a long period of time, if at all.
In the first four EuroLeague games, Mudiay averages 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 6.3 PIR.
In the Lithuanian league, his stat line is 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 10.8 PIR.
