The Blancos set the pace in the first quarter, overscoring the Greek by 12 (30-18). Since then, it was a convincing win.
"We managed to stay focused in the difficult moments, getting over some ups and downs," began Laso.
"I believe that in the second quarter, we had some easy shots that we missed, we had a lower level in certain defensive situations that did not allow us to run, but in general terms, defensively, we were very solid.
The most important thing was to win. Now we can think about the next game against Fenerbahce," he added.
The Spanish mastermind admitted he was happy with the week's results.
"I think the balance is very positive. We got two victories, difficult victories because the beginning of the season is always hard."
Head coach Laso praised his players, highlighting how everyone followed the game plan.
"This is one of those days in which the coach feels very happy. It was not brilliant, but everyone worked steadily and explained the final difference in the end.", concluded the 54-year-old.
Alberto Abalde, who scored 16 points, was happy about the result. "We had to continue being solid, to control the game, because they are a good team and tried to come back. But we did well the things we did badly in the second half against Monaco. I am happy, and we have to keep rolling."
