The Golden State Warriors leader Stephen Curry fired up just before the NBA regular-season start.

Two-time NBA MVP scored 41 points (6/9 2PT, 7/14 3PT, 8/10 FT) and led the Warriors to a home victory against the Portland Trail Blazers 119-97 (17-27, 38-24, 43-26, 21-20).

Curry played for 30 minutes and managed also to grab 9 rebounds, dish 2 assists, and make 4 turnovers.

The Warriors, which won all four preseason games, start the NBA season away on October 20 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

On another side, the Trail Blazers were routed by CJ McCollum. He posted 26 points (7/11 2PT, 4/11 3PT), 4 assists, and 2 steals in 28 minutes.

Damian Lillard did not participate in the duel.
