The Dallas Mavericks defeated the NBA reigning champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, 114-103 (30-29, 37-21, 24-27, 23-26), and retained their perfect record of the NBA preseason stage.

The Mavericks decided the game outcome in the first half, outscoring the Bucks by 17 points (67-50). Milwaukee's club could not come back and close the margin between the teams.

Jalen Brunson was the top performer for the Mavericks, accumulating 17 points (7/9 2PT, 1/2 3PT), 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Trey Burke added 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis were rested and did not play.

NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks. He posted 26 points (7/9 2PT, 2/2 3PT, 6/9 FT), 10 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Hos brother, Thanasis, registered 4 points and 3 assists over 18.5 minutes.

Bucks' Khris Middleton was not ready for the game.
