Luca Baraldi, CEO of Virtus Segafredo Bologna, and Nico Mannion announced that the Italian player will be a part of the 12-men roster for Saturday's game against Pallacanestro Trieste.

The Italian point guard has been out since his arrival at Virtus due to a severe intestinal infection.

Coach Sergio Scariolo will decide if Mannion will play or not in the end but the player will be available for Saturday's game.

"Nico will be in the 12-men roster for Saturday's game", Baraldi said during the presentation of the new sale of season tickets. "He has been working really hard in the past couple of weeks. If we think about his health and condition when he arrived, he really made some great improvements. He's a guy with a very strong will", Baraldi explained.

Virtus will rest both Milos Teodosic and Mouhammadou Jaiteh for Saturday's game against Trieste. The two players are dealing with small injuries and the team doesn't want to take any risk.
