Maccabi and Panathinaikos receive fines for inappropriate fan behavior

Euroleague Basketball has announced the following disciplinary sanction pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv have been sanctioned with a fine of €1,500 for the throwing of objects onto the playing court on the occasion of its home game against Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade under Article 29.2.h) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens have been sanctioned with a fine of €5,000 for the lighting of flares inside the arena on the occasion of its home game against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul under Article 29.2.e) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

Maccabi lost the game against Crvena Zvezda 63-75, while Panathinaikos edged out Fenerbahce 91-87.
