The San Antonio Spurs have waived Luka Samanic, per the official club's announcement.
Samanic was drafted 19th overall by the Spurs in the 2019 NBA draft.
Last season he split time between the San Antonio Spurs and their affiliate in the G League, Austin Spurs.
In the NBA, he averaged 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 33 games, while accumulating averages of 21.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per 6 G League contests.
In the 2019-20 NBA season, the 21-year-old played only 3 games and posted 5.3 points.
