FC Barcelona (6-0) stay undefeated this season by taking care of business in a Spanish Liga ACB away match against Real Betis (1-4) 78-61 (19-15, 18-14, 20-21, 21-11).

Barca started the game well and maintained a lead for the entire 40 minutes. Even though Betis cut their deficit to four at the end of the third period (49-53), Barca held firm and blew them out in the fourth.

"It was not a fresh game, something understandable due to this tough schedule, Jasikevicius said after the game. "We have been solid on defense. In the second quarter, we were really aggressive in the offensive rebound."

"In the last quarter, Rolands Smits made great shots. We had room to improve on offense. To win on the road is always important," Lithuanian added.

It was a team effort for Sarunas Jasikevicius' squad. Four players scored in double-figures, including Rolands Smits, who scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

This was the 100th Liga ACB game for Sarunas Jasikevicius. So far, he has 79 victories and 21 losses.

"It has been a tough and physical game, said Smits. "They took us too many rebounds at the beginning, but in the second half we managed to overcome it, playing as a team and putting a great effort on defense."

Barcelona: Rolands Smits 12, Nicolas Laprovittola 11, Kyle Kuric 11, Cory Higgins 10, Brandon Davies 8, Nick Calathes 7, Rokas Jokubaitis 7.

Betis: Marko Todorovic 15, Beqa Burjanadze 11, Vitto Brown 9.
