Joffrey Lauvergne will be sidelined for the foreseeable future after the big man of Zalgiris Kaunas got injured in the EuroLeague game against Zenit Saint Petersburg, the Lithuanian club announced.
Lauvergne collided with an opponent and fell on the floor at the beginning of the third quarter. After leaving the locker room, the Frenchman tried to come back to the court, but after a few minutes, he had to leave the floor again.

A thorough medical examination showed that his shoulder injury is serious and Lauvergne will have to miss at least 4-6 weeks. He will be evaluated accordingly while his shoulder heals.
