Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and Yogi Ferrell are closing in on an agreement, according to George Zakkas of

Ferrell has been waived by the Los Angeles Clippers, where he spent the last part of the previous season.

In 8 regular-season games with the Clippers, Ferrell averaged 4.6 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game. If he ended up with Panathinaikos, this would be his first European experience.

Before coming to LA, the 28-year-old represented the Brooklyn Nets (2016), the Dallas Mavericks (2017-18), the Sacramento Kings (2018-20), and the Cleveland Cavaliers (2021).

The 1.83-meter point guard has NBA career averages of 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 259 contests.
