The winners were up by 21 points (91-70) at the end of the third quarter and despite the hosts' efforts, they had no problem getting their second win before the official NBA tipoff.

Tyler Herro led all scorers with 24 points and nine rebounds for the Heat, while Kyle Lowry added two points, five rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in the victory. Good work from Adebayo with 15 points and 7 rebounds.
Jalen Green tallied 20 points and five rebounds for the Rockets in the losing effort.
