FC Bayern Munich (0-2) started the new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season with losses against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and FC Barcelona.

While Bayern struggles with the high number of injured players, full roster Barcelona was led the game by Cory Higgins and Rokas Jokubaitis.
After the game, coach Andrea Trinchieri admitted the dominance of the guest team.
"Congrats to Barca. They were better. Their defense didn't allow us to generate any offense. We were good first 18 mins. Then, the last two minutes of the second quarter were crucial for the result on the scoreboard," Italian said.
Despite having the difference in two digits, Trinchieri's team put a huge effort on the court.
"We fought really hard. We tried to come back. A lot of problems in the offense. When you can't score, it is really hard to maintain the same level of defense."
Bayern's rotation was limited once again due to the injuries. From the main roster, Vladimir Lucic, Andreas Obst, Nihad Djedovic, and Leon Radosevic are still out of the roster.
Trinchieri didn't have a lot of good news regarding his players' availability.
"No idea when injured players will be back. The good thing is that Schilling was back, and he helped us for seven minutes. But for the others, I have no idea," he stated.
When asked to compare FC Barcelona with last year, Trinchieri was certain about Barca's defense.
"For sure, they are better in defense. They played a good game and won it. It's pretty simple, but I don't know if they are better this season than they were the last one," Italian concluded.
