Just two days after announcing his retirement, Pau Gasol has joined Girona, playing in the second Spanish division. The 41-year-old is set to become the vice president of the team, Mundo Deportivo reports.
The former player visited the training session of the team today. Its LEB Oro season tips off this Saturday.
Not only that, his younger brother Marc Gasol, who was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies, will also join Girona and become the team's president.
Apart from serving as the president, Marc could also suit up and help the team on the floor. However, he has reportedly not reached a final decision yet.
