"I think he will be out for a few days, we'll see how many," said Barca's bench boss Sarunas Jasikevicius.

Sanli suffered an ankle injury during the game against Casademont Zaragoza on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old has already dealt with a toe injury in Barca which stopped him from playing at the start of the 2021-22 season.

The 2.13-meter center spent his last three seasons with Anadolu Efes Istanbul and was instrumental in their Turkish Airlines EuroLeague trophy win last year.

Sanli scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the semifinals game against CSKA Moscow. The Turkish athlete had 12 points and two boards against Barca in the EuroLeague final.

Sanli averaged 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 7.3 EFF over 14 minutes in 34 EuroLeague games last year. He accumulated 8.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 10.6 EFF in 25 Turkish League games.

Barca compete against FC Bayern Munich on October 7 in EuroLeague Round 2.
