The Toronto Raptors won't have big man Chris Boucher for the start of the season. The big man suffered a dislocated left middle finger and underwent surgery to fix the problem.
Coach Nick Nurse announced that Boucher underwent surgery before their preseason debut against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Boucher is expected to stay out at least 3-4 weeks, and for this reason, he won't be ready for the start of the regular season.
Boucher showed great improvement in the past season and averaged 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during the regular season.
