The Sacramento Kings went off for a good start in their preseason debut thanks to a 117-106 (23-30, 24-31, 24-29, 35-27) win at home over the Phoenix Suns

The team coached by Luke Walton played really well in the first half and went to the locker room up by 14 points.

In the second half, the Kings were able to maintain the lead, even in the final quarter when the Suns tried a comeback. 

The Suns were without their two stars Chris Paul and Devin Booker, also forward Jae Crowder was absent from the game. 

Harrison Barnes was the top scorer of the night for the Sacramento Kings with 18 points. Marvin Bagley, 15 points, and Buddy Hield, 14 points, were also main contributors for the Kings.

For the Suns, instead, Jalen Smith had a double-double, 13 points, and 11 rebounds. Landry Shamet also finished with 13 points, while Elfrid Payton added 11 points.
