The Golden State Warriors opened their preseason on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers and got their first victory thanks to a 121-107 (26-25, 34-35, 40-25, 21-22) win. 

After a very balanced first half, the Golden State Warriors took control of the game in the third quarter when they scored 40 points and finished up by 15.

The team coached by Steve Kerr shot 69 times from three-point during the game, finishing with a solid 35% from distance.

Jordan Poole was the top scorer of the Warriors with 30 points (7/13 from 3pt), while Otto Porter Jr added 19 points. Steph Curry finished with 13 points.

Damian Lillard finished with 19 points for the Trail Blazers, while Jusuf Nurkic had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
