The Charlotte Hornets won in a comfortable way against the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-97 (34-18, 33-27, 24-26, 22-26) in their preseason debut on the road. 

The team coached by James Borrego dominated the game since the start and finished the first half up by 22 points and from that point on they never looked back.

The Thunder, though, got some promising performances from some of their young players, especially rookie Josh Giddey. 

For the Hornets, the top scorer of the night was James Bouknight with 20 points, while star LaMelo Ball had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. 

Rookie Josh Giddey was the top scorer of the Thunder with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Aaron Wiggins finished with 12 points.
