In the second round of the Adriatic League, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade (2-0) defeated Buducnost Podgorica (1-1) 71-63 (19-14, 18-15, 8-18, 26-16).
Luka Mitrovic, a member of Buducnost last season, punished his former squad with 19 points (7/10 2PT, 5/6 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 3 turnovers, and 21 PIR.
Crvena Zvezda held a substantial advantage in the first half, leading by 11 at one point (37-26). However, Buducnost responded with a solid third quarter, only allowing Zvezda to score 8 points in the period and going into the fourth quarter with a two-point advantage (45-47).
The Serbian powerhouse started the final period with a 13-0 run to regain the lead and pull away. Crvena Zvezda maintained their advantage and brought their fans an eight-point victory.
