The first half was held at a high pace since the teams willingly ran into fast breaks. Loko quickly recovered after an unsuccessful start and, thanks to the efforts of Eric McCollum, who scored 17 points in the first half, took the lead.

By the big break, the scoreboard read 39-33 in favor of the red-green. After the resumption of the game, Loko's long-range artillery turned on: Stanton Kidd scored three times from a distance, supported twice by McCollum.
