Anadolu Efes's away game against Besiktas for the Turkish League gave the reigning EuroLeague champs the perfect chance to vent their frustration for the bad performance and easy defeat to Real Madrid (82-69) in their continental premiere. The players of Ergin Ataman took no prisoners, beating hosts Besiktas Istanbul by 46 points (55-101, 17-33, 5-26, 18-25, 15-17).

Ataman relished the chance to use all his players. Vasilije Micic was out of the 12-man squad, taking some rest. Rodrigue Beaubois scored 21 points for the winners, while James Anderson added 19, Chris Singleton 16 and Filip Petrusev 15.

On his birthday, Shane Larkin did only what was necessary to go for 4 points and 7 assists, after his explosive performance in Madrid.

For Besiktas, Dedric Lawson contributed 12 points and newly-added Hollis-Jefferson debuted with 6.

Anadolu Efes took the lead from the first minute with Petrusev, Anderson and Beaubois scoring double digits and finished the first 10 minutes with a 17-33 lead. The visitors opened the gap for good in the second quarter, conceding only 5 points and thus taking a huge margin at halftime (22-59).

From that point on, the winner was already known. Besiktas couldn't cut down the deficit and Efes cruised to their second domestic victory of the season.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul: Beaubois 21, Anderson 19, Singleton 16, Petrusev 15, Dunston 8, Saybir 7.

Besiktas: Lawson 12, Osmani 10, Bone 10, Bluiett 10.
