Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz acquired Alex Barrera to a provisional deal, per the official team's report.
Barrera has spent a decade in the Liga ACB playing for Joventut Badalona (2011-15), BAXI Manresa (2015-16), and San Pablo Burgos (2016-21). He has Spanish League career averages of 3.1 points and 1 rebound over 207 contests.
Last season the 28-year-old posted 1.9 points in 19 ACB games.
The 1.96-meter Spanish athlete is a two-time Basketball Champions League winner with Burgos. In the 2019-20 BCL campaign, Barrera accumulated 5.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
