The Milwaukee Bucks are acquiring Johnny O'Bryant to a training camp contract, via Shams Charania of The Athletic.

O'Bryant spent two of his four NBA seasons with the Bucks (2014-16) and is returning to compete for a roster spot.

The 28-year-old recently worked out with the Golden State Warriors, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Brooklyn Nets

Last season the American power forward/center split time between Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade and Turk Telekom Ankara. In the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, O'Bryant averaged 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per 16 games while posting 9 points and 5.7 rebounds in 9 BCL contests.

O'Bryant has been out of the NBA since the 2018-2019 season when he joined Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. After his experience in Israel, the American athlete played one season for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar in Russia, and then joined Crvena Zvezda.

Originally drafted by the Bucks in the 2014 NBA Draft with the 36th overall pick, O'Bryant spent two seasons in Milwaukee, and then he had brief stints with the Denver Nuggets and the Charlotte Hornets.

His NBA career averages are 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 147 games.
