Fortitudo Bologna officially announced that the club accepted Jasmin Repesa's resignation due to health reasons.

After the first game of the Italian Serie A, which Fortitudo lost against Reggio Emilia, Repesa announced that he suffered a tachycardia attack in the locker room and couldn't continue his work.

Fortitudo already confirmed that Antimo Martino will replace Repesa.

Despite signing a multi-year deal to return to Fortitudo after 20 years since his first stint with the club, Repesa's pre-season was filled with issues and doubts. In the past few weeks, there whispers about him not being fully convinced by the team.

Martino was the coach that brought back Fortitudo to the top division in 2019. After the first season in Serie A, though, which was suspended due to Covid, the club decided not to confirm Martino and replaced him with Meo Sacchetti, the current head coach of the Italian NT.
