Former NBA forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will play in Turkey this season, as he signed a deal with Besiktas, his agency confirmed to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

The deal also includes an NBA out. BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas reported last week that Hollis-Jefferson was close to signing with Besiktas. It will be his first experience outside the NBA.
An Arizona alumn, Hollis-Jefferson, played with the Portland Trail Blazers in the past season, originally appearing for the team on a couple of 10-day contracts.
The forward spent the first four years of his NBA career with the Brooklyn Nets before moving for a season to the Toronto Raptors.
Last season with Portland, he averaged 2.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 11 games with the team. He also appeared in 5 playoffs games with the Trail Blazers.
Besiktas will face Rytas Vilnius, EWE Baskets Oldenburg and Hereda San Pablo Burgos in the BCL Group H.
