After a successful start in the domestic ACB League, Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid will begin a new Turkish Airlines Euroleague season on Thursday against the reigning champion Anadolu Efes.

The team coached by Pablo Laso started the season with three consecutive wins in the Spanish league.

But despite the early success, Laso believes that his team still has a lot of room for improvement.

"We're ready for Euroleague, but there's still a lot of room for improvement, we are only in September, and we must continue working," Laso said after the victory against Obradoiro.

"We'll arrive well on Thursday, although this was the full week of training for Rudy (Fernandez), and Trey (Thompkins) and Anthony (Randolph) are still out. But the other players look in good shape," he added.

Real Madrid's coach also mentioned the performance of Sergio Llull, who has been a key factor at this beginning of the season.

"We surely do not discover Sergio now, he's a player who gives us different solutions. Defensively he has been very effective, and he's not suffering as much as other seasons. Offensively, he's a very talented player, as he can not only score but also create for his teammates," Laso finished.
