Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul got an easy road win by 75-65 (13-20, 13-20, 18-15, 20-21) against Darussafaka Tekfen in their opening game for the Turkish Basketball Super League season.
Fenerbahce will host Red Star in the EuroLeague premiere on October 1. The visitors finished the first quarter up by seven (13-20), thanks to 7 points by Pierre. Aleksandar Djordjevic's men soon arrived at a double-digit lead in the second quarter, which they maintained until the end of the game.
DyShawn Pierre put up 15 points, while De Colo added 14, Shayok 13, and Ismet 12 for the 2017 EuroLeague champs. Troy Caupain scored 15 points, Nathan Boone contributed 12 plus 7 rebounds for Selcuk Ernak's squad.
