Even though the Greek Basket League had already tipped off last week, Olympiacos Piraeus played a friendly match against Peristeri Athens, beating them with ease 96-69 (29-19, 23-21, 24-12, 20-17).

Olympiacos pulled away from Peristeri in the first quarter and never looked back. Tyler Dorsey was the leading scorer for the red and whites, finishing with 18 points. Shaquielle McKissic added 14.

Their team's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season kicks off on October 1 with a home game against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
