Olympiacos Piraeus crushed Iraklis Thessaloniki 90-55 (25-15, 21-12, 20-15, 24-13) and progressed to the third round in the Greek Cup tournament.

OLY began the game with the starting five of Thomas Walkup, Tyler Dorsey, Kostas Papanikolaou, Aleksandar Vezenkov, and Moustapha Fall. In the first 5 minutes of the game, the play was neck to neck. However, Olympiacos made an 8-0 run and finished the quarter, having 10 points lead (25-15).

In the second quarter, the scenario was repeated. After 15 minutes of playing time, the result was 29-19 but then the Greek powerhouse spurted again. They increased the margin between the squads to 19 points (46-27).

In the third period, the view on the floor did not change. Bartzokas' team organized another run (12-0) and created the massive advantage of 32 points (63-31). Iraklis answered with a couple of buckets, reduced the deficit to 24 (66-42).

Even though the last quarter was a mere formality, Olympiacos did not stop. They even enlarged their lead by 11 points and got a convincing victory.
