AX Armani Exchange Milan remained in the hunt for their first title of the new season.

The Italian vice-champions 72-67 (21-15, 20-12, 10-29, 21-11) beat Brindisi Happy Casa in the Italian Supercup semi-final battle.

With 2:20 left, Nick Perkins made a jumper and cut Brindisi’s deficit to only 1 point - 67-68. However, Kyle Hines answered with a dunk, Devon Hall knocked down both free throws, and Armani Exchange finished the game with a 10-3 run.

Hines, who had a game-high 23 EFF, finished the game with 11 points (5-5 2PT, 1/2 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

Milan started the game strongly and at the end of the first half, they were already up by 14 points behind the performances of Mitoglou and Shavon Shields. In the third quarter, though, Brindisi found more rhythm offensively and were able to put together a 19-0 run which completely changed the game and forced Milan to enter the final quarter with a 5-points deficit.

However, in the last quarter Hines, Devon Hall, and Shavon Shields worked well together to give more balance offensively to Milan. Meanwhile, Brindisi weren't able to make some tough shots from beyond the three-point arc and Milan took the win.

In the final game, Armani Exchange will face Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

Brindisi: Josh Perkins 16 (3-10 3PT), Nick Perkins 16 (7 REB), Lucio Redivo 11.

Armani Exchange: Konstantinos Mitoglou 13 (7 REB), Kyle Hines 11 (5/5 2PT, 8 REB), Nicolo Melli 11 (7 REB), Shavon Shields 11, Malcolm Delaney 10.
