Three-time EuroLeague champion and a former EuroLeague Final Four MVP Zoran Savic made a tremendous contribution to Partizan's off-season success.

After a glorious 17-year playing career, the former center became the general manager of the last professional team he played for, Fortitudo Bologna. He later became the GM of FC Barcelona, bringing in coach Xavi Pascual who led the team to 12 titles.

This year, Savic was hired as the new GM for Partizan, helping the team facilitate Zeljko Obradovic's return to coaching. Savic gave an interview to the Greek Gazzetta and mentioned Zeljko as being his primary target to take over the team right from the start.

"We had to wait a long time, until the end of July, for the new coach to be hired. When I joined the team in March, we had Zeljko as our first choice. We did not want anyone else to take over the team."

At the age of 32, William Mosley is the oldest man on the team. No other player is older than 28 for Partizan. Savic emphasized the importance of having a young group of players and mentioned looking for another team member.

"By our choice, we have the youngest team in the EuroCup. We are looking for another tall guy to complete our roster."

The EuroCup season tips off on October 19. Partizan will face the Hamburg Towers in an away game of the opening night.
