The head coach of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Ergin Ataman, is looking to expand his influence on the European basketball stage.
The EuroLeague champion is interested in investing in Fortitudo Bologna that competes in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports.
Fortitudo placed 12th in the domestic league last season, finishing with 10 wins, 18 losses, and missing the playoffs.
Last year, Ataman became a part-owner of Basket Torino, which is competing in the second Italian division.
