LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne played a friendly game against a team from the same city, Lyonso Basket, and blew them out 83-50 (27-11, 13-5, 21-22, 22-12).
ASVEL's advantage was apparent right from the start: they held Lyonso to just 11 points while pouring on 27 of their own. They locked in on defense even more in the second, allowing their opponents to score just five points in the second.
The second half was a mere formality and ASVEL came away with an easy 33-point victory. They will play their final pre-season match on September 23 against Fos Provence Basket.
