AX Armani Exchange Milan announced in an official statement that shooting guard Troy Daniels has suffered a hamstring injury in yesterday's practice and will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Daniels, who was the last addition to Olimpia Milan's roster for the upcoming season, will miss the final eight of the Italian Supercup and at least the first game of the Italian league.
Daniels had shown good form in the friendly game against Paris Basketball and he's expected to have a consistent role coming off the bench. Milan has other options to fill the void for the time being though, with guys like Hall and Alviti being able to play multiple positions.
After spending several years in the NBA, this is the first season overseas for Daniels, who didn't play in the past season and remained a free agent.
