As reported by Artem Komarov, the VTB League has revealed the team budgets for the last season (2020-21). Without any surprises, CSKA Moscow had the biggest budget, with a little over €31 million at their disposal.
The second richest team was Zenit St Petersburg with almost €22.5 million. The remaining place on the podium belonged to Khimki Moscow Region with €20 million. The team with the lowest budget in Russia last season was Avtodor Saratov. They had €2.1 million.
In European basketball, it's always very difficult to find official numbers on the team's financials, so every bit of information is useful to have a clearer picture of the European basketball market.
