In their first pre-season game, Israeli champions 77-83 (15-26, 22-17, 13-20, 27-20) lost to Bnei Herzliya Basket.
For the losing side, James Nunnally scored 18 points and got 5 rebounds. Ante Zizic (6 rebounds), Keenan Evans (5 assists), and Sandy Cohen added 11 points each.
Maccabi Tel Aviv have had a tough start of pre-season, with at least five players and one staff member testing positive for Covid.
