Injuries have been tormenting Alex Abrines throughout his career. The guard-forward of FC Barcelona, who signed a contract extension that will keep him with the Catalan club until 2026, has suffered another one, this time on his left knee.

Per club announcement, the Spanish international will undergo medical tests in order to find out the scope of the problem. The Spanish champs promised to provide an update on the player's condition once the results of the scans are known.
Last season Abrines (28, 1.98) appeared in 39 EuroLeague games (33 starts). In 18.4 minutes of playing time, he averaged 6.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 42% from 3-point range.
