Impressive performance in the preseason will open doors for the debut in Lithuania. 17-year old NBA prospect Daryl Doualla is expected to sign with Nevezis-Optibet Kedainiai, sources tell BasketNews.

2004-born Doualla had a successful preparation stage with Nevezis-Optibet. In three games vs. Zalgiris youth team and two LKL clubs (CBet Jonava, BC Siauliai-7bet), 1.95 m lockdown defender averaged 14 points, 3.6 rebounds, two assists, and 3.6 steals.

Doualla just recently went on a solid campaign with the French U18 team in FIBA European Challengers. The French guard averaged 12.6 points (on 70.8% two-point shooting), 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per 23 minutes in five games.

Doualla, who is eligible for the 2023 NBA draft, just turned 17 on June 21.

The last two years he represented LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne. In 2019 he helped his U18 ASVEL team to reach the ANGT EuroLeague finals by averaging 20 points, four rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.
